I want to improve my health, but where do I start?

The first step is to make an appointment to discuss your health challenges and goals with Maria. The appointment generally involves a 60-75 minute session.

Do any of  your therapies or tests hurt?
You don't feel a thing! Maria practices natural healing techniques and use only FDA-approved remedies.

List of symptoms and diseases?
We do not diagnose, treat or cure any disease. We simply look to the body's innate intelligence, release any nerve interference, balance the electro-magnetics, give the body what it needs nutritionally, gently detox, and teach the patient how to release emotional stress, and the body heals itself.

How long does it take to get well?
How long did it take you to get sick? It has taken years of stress and toxic build up for you to be in the state of health that you are in now. Generally speaking, patients feel a sense of well-being and increased energy within a few days or weeks.

Why do you use so many therapies ?
In this toxic, stress-filled world, our bodies are constantly bombarded with chemical, physical and emotional toxins. Life in this world is very complex and our bodies are fighting hard to enjoy a measure of health. Several forms of healing and stimulation are necessary in order to unwind the body and allow it to heal.

What is Chinese Herbal Medicine ?
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the world’s oldest continuously practiced professional medicine-it has been practiced for over 2,500 years. Although acupuncture was the first traditional Chinese medical method to win wide acceptance in the United States, Chinese herbal medicine is the foundation of TCM.

The “herbs” used in Chinese herbal medicine include botanical, mineral and zoological substances.  Among these, botanical substances are the majority, such as leaves, flowers, twigs, roots
, tubers, stems, and bark.

What problems can be treated using Traditional Chinese Medicine ?
In China, Chinese herbal medicine is the predominant treatment method for a wide range of disease, such as  internal medical, surgical, gynaecology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, dermatology, and ENT (ears, nose, and throat) diseases.  Today, Chinese doctors combine Western medicines with Chinese herbal medicine to treat patients.  In the United States, Chinese herbal medicine has been widely accepted for many conditions, such as digestive, respiratory, nervous, gynecological, dermatological and degenerative diseases. Many Americans now use Chinese herbal medicine to treat a variety of conditions.

Does Chinese Herbal Medicine have any side effects ?
Because all Chinese herbal medicines are natural substances, they differ from synthetic components.  When used appropriately, according to Chinese medicine diagnosis, the constitution of patients, and taken in appropriate form and dosage.  Chinese herbal medicines should have few or no side effects.  If used inappropriately, however, Chinese herbal medicines can cause side effects and even serious results.  These side effects can be avoided by consulting a well-trained practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine before beginning any treatment plan using Chinese herbs.

Does Chinese Herbal Medicine work for Western patients ?
Yes, Chinese herbal medicine works as well for Westerners as it does for Chinese.  Chinese herbal medicine has been used successfully in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and all throughout Asia.
